Get paid online
Go to Settings → Payments and choose Connect with Stripe. Only the business owner can connect or disconnect Stripe. Stripe will ask for your business details and the bank account your card payments should be paid out to; you can save and come back later if you need to.
Once Stripe confirms your account, every invoice you send carries a Pay online button on the page your customer opens from the email, and the email's button reads View and pay invoice. Customers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on a page hosted by Stripe; card details never reach BusyBee Hub.
The money goes straight into your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays it out to your bank on its usual schedule. BusyBee Hub marks the invoice paid the moment the payment clears and records Stripe's card fee as an expense under Bank and card charges, so your profit is right without any typing.
When the payout arrives in your bank feed, explain it as Stripe payout: that moves the money from your undeposited card takings into your bank account without counting the income twice. We suggest it automatically when the description mentions Stripe.
Refunds are made from your Stripe Dashboard. When you refund a card payment, BusyBee Hub reopens the invoice for the refunded amount and lets you know. Stripe keeps its fee on refunds, so the fee expense stays.
You can switch the Pay online button off for all invoices from Settings → Payments without disconnecting, or disconnect entirely; your Stripe account remains yours either way.
Your platform fee, if any, is shown on the same page. Stripe's own card fees apply to every payment.
